Rafter Bar A Saddle & Tack

Rafter Bar A Saddle Shop began in Marshall, AR, in 1982 as a saddle, tack, manufacturing and repair shop. From its modest beginning, it has grown into one of Arkansas' finest antique saddle repair shop. It was started by Scott, a native of Arkansas, with a vision for creating a quality saddle shop. Rafter Bar Saddle Shop has grown every year since then in size, loyal customer base, volume, inventory and friends. RBSS now has many saddles in stock at all times. RBSS prides itself in being an “old time” saddle shop with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, service, and an impressive inventory. If we don't have it, we will do our best to get it for you!!!

RBSS specializes in antique saddles such as this featured 1934 Powder River saddle. The photo above and below are examples of some before and after pictures of restoration.

Isn't this a great saddle! RBSS can do just about anything you can dream of with leather. If you can describe it, draw a picture, or send in a picture of another saddle, then RBBS can deliver. You will not be let down. The quality and craftmanship is unbelievable.

Scott also specializes in making knives and flint knapping. All kinds of Buck skinner attire such as: shirts, breeches, suspenders, moccasins, leggings, powder horns, and tomahawks.

We can repair and rebuild the following items: Cutting saddles, barrell saddles, pleasure saddles, roping saddles, combination saddles, horse and mule tack, chaps, chinks, pack saddles, work harness, show harness, driving harness, pistol holster, gunbelts, knife sheaths, wallets, billfolds, purses, belts, and toolbelts. Returning a fine piece of tack to its near original condition is a work of art. Our goal is to restore these pieces back to their former useful and sound condition, as well as making an effort to preserve a bit of history. Each piece is handled individually as a unique item. So if you have an item that need repairing or revitalizing, bring in to Scott's shop for an estimate. RBSS just recently sold this vintage wagon at an unbelievable price. Now I know that the picture below isn't a saddle, but RBSS tries to meet all of your western needs whether it is a saddle, knives, guns, ect... With the price of gas today, this may come back in style!
